And if you do — realize you’re taking in extremely important vitamins and other things vital to a poker player such as: Niacinamide, Cobalamin, Pantothenic Acid, Choline, Folic Acid (this will KILL your teeth, but SUPERSIZE your bluffing-abilities), Taurine, Riboflavin, Trimethylxanthine, Acetyl-L-Carnitine and Pyridoxine.
Sounds tasty, Mr. Hellmuth!

I’ve just watched the second season of NBC’s Poker After Dark and in the bracelet winners episodes, I felt like punching T. J. ‘The Tart” Cloutier in the stumach most of the time. I mean, his ego was like Layne Flack’s and Phil Hellmuth’s ego combined. And he did it without being open about it. He was like: “listen to me guys I’m a big poker player too I have ze bracelets!”.
Yes T.J., you have bracelets. Congratulations, TIT!

We’ve been looking for a good and easy to use free wordpress poker theme for quite some time, and it looks like our friends from ppppoker have just helped us out a bunch! Together with pokerblog.cc, they’ve released a beautiful and XHTML valid poker wordpress theme, and best of all: it’s free!

Looks great, doesn’t it? We’ll be working on adjusting the theme a little in the next few days. Hopefully we’ll be able to use it on Poker Info Source soon!
No, I’m not REALLY quitting poker — but sometimes, I feel like I should. I’m having an extremely bad week, and it feels like at this point there is no justice what so ever in the game of poker. I’ve been playing 7 Card Stud for the past week, and I’ve been murdered by river cards constantly. A perfect example is the hand where I have a full house by fifth street, improve my boat on sixth, and my opponent beats me with quads on a miracle river 6.
My K’s over J’s came in short, and I had a sick feeling when I clicked the call button too.
Not like I was going to lay K’s over J’s down — but DAMN that sucked.
I’m taking a breat, that’s FOR SURE.
Okay, I had never heard of a thing called 3 Card Omaha until I read about it on Vincent’s Poker Blog. Seems like it’s an omaha variant in which you only get 3 cards dealt to you, and you still have to use two of them to form a hand. Nice!
It’s probably played as a Pot Limit game, and it sounds like a little less of a gambling game than the regular 4 card Pot Limit Omaha game.
I plan on giving it a go in a few days — I’ll keep you posted on the results!
Casino games have always been a popular form of entertainment and ever since the arrival of one casino games such as bingo, blackjack, pocker and other amazing games, it has been witnessed huge fan following. However, if you are planning to play online bingo, make sure that you are well versed with the rules of the game.
Once you are familiar with the legal moves, strategies are not a difficult part of the game and one can easily enhance the gaming skills over a period of time. Incase you are going forth with money based games, it is better to play a game safely so as you do not your money. While playing casino games, winning and losing is a matter of chance. So, if you are winning in one game, you can even lose the next game.
Maintaining perfect pattern for your bingo cards and make sure you manage them properly so as to increase the changes of your win. You can try with other patterns such as blackout, x and four corners so as to hit bingo and win the jackpot. In order to make the game more enjoyable, it is very important to understand the gaming skills and improve one’s game.
Can’t blame Phil Ivey for calling that all-in with his set. With a flushdraw + two overs Sammy Farha might have done the same — so I guess it’s the right call (i’m SURE the call was good, even with sammy’s set, the pot odds say definate call).
Anyway, Farha flips over the straight, Ivey makes runner runner boat. Go figure.
David Layani decides to play his Aces slowly against Phil Ivey. I repeat — this guy decides to PLAY HIS ACES SLOWLY against Phil Ivey. Dude, you’re up against, PHIL IVEY, why pick the riskiest approach to playing your hand?
I mean — if he just played the hand it was supposed to be played against a top pro like Phil Ivey, he would have scooped the pot before the flop (hopefully), or he may have lost against Phil, but without having to feel like he asked for it…
This is a painful hand, and shows how dangerous aces are against middle and low pairs. We’ll be looking at the hand from sifoka’s perspective, he is dealt
. Pre-flop:
RAISE acousticmann to $2
RAISE sifoka to $6
CALL acousticmann $4
You’ve got what you wanted. A raise in front of you, a hefty re-raise and a call. Not bad, decent action in a $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold’em game, even at Full Tilt.
Anyway, the flop rolls off, and it’s a good one. Flush draw that may have hit something, and some dangerous straight-are middle cards too:
Our man sifoka bets right into it, the right play — and is probably quite happy to see a re-raise. He shoves it in (again, the right play), and sees the bad news: a set.
BET sifoka $8
RAISE acousticmann to $20
ALL-IN sifoka $43.25
CALL acousticmann $23.25
